Student Book Discussion on Creating an Inclusive Classroom

The Institute of Engineering Education and Innovation (IEEI) at Texas A&M University is organizing a weekly hour-long Student literature Discussion Group for this entire semester.

Each week, the students will discuss one chapter from the book ‘’Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Man’’ by Emmanuel Acho and what they think faculty could do to create a more inclusive and diverse environment in the classroom.

IEEI and it’s partners will provide a free physical copy of the book for all participants. No advanced reading is required.
