As National Student Employment Week comes around, we want to take a moment to recognize the hard work and dedication of our outstanding student workers. At the Institute for Engineering Education and Innovation (IEEI), we are fortunate to have two amazing students, Hannah Cooper and Austin McCormick, who have made valuable contributions to our team.
Hannah Cooper, the Student Coordinator for IEEI, has been with us since August 2021, starting just three weeks before her first semester. Despite being new to the job, Hannah quickly proved herself to be a valuable asset to the team. She coordinates events, manages the Institute’s social media pages, assists in grant submissions, and provides other support to staff as needed. Hannah is currently an Accounting student at Mays Business School and plans to sit for her CPA exam in 2024. It’s no surprise that she was also a previous Student Employee of the Year nominee!
Austin McCormick is a valuable member of the IEEI team, bringing his expertise in computer engineering and mathematics to support the Institute’s mission. As a student worker, he assists with compiling data, submitting grants, and providing other assistance to support staff where needed. Austin began working at IEEI in May 2022 and has already made a significant impact on the Institute’s operations. In addition to his work at IEEI, AustinĀ is also an Honors student, highlighting his commitment to academic excellence.
We are proud to have Hannah and Austin as part of the IEEI team and are grateful for their hard work, dedication, and contributions to our mission. They are true examples of the valuable role that student workers play in the success of any organization. Join us in thanking them for their efforts during National Student Employment Week!
