The Engineering Education Experts at IEEI is a diverse group of educators, students, and professionals dedicated to improving engineering education research and professional development.
This community of practice provides a collaborative space for faculty and researchers of Texas A&M University interested in research and innovation in engineering, engineering technology, and computer science education. The group’s collaboration focuses primarily on education research, curricular and pedagogical innovations, professional development, and mentoring current and future scholars in engineering education.
The group is open to anyone in the Texas A&M University System interested in improving engineering education. Generally, the community of practice consists of faculty members who have a degree in engineering, computer science, engineering technology, or significant experience in one of these fields of education or in industry. The executive committee may consider other faculty who have active involvement in research in education in these areas, significant development, or innovations in these areas.
