Green Dot training organized by IEEI

January 10, 2022 | By Candice Meyers

IEEI, in collaboration with the Green Dot Institute at TAMU organized a Green Dot Training (via zoom) on Friday, January 7th, 2022, from 3:00 – 4:30 pm. Green Dot is a bystander intervention training that teaches skills and provides practical tools to the participants so that they can intervene, promote safety, and play an active role in reducing power-based personal violence. This training explored several bystander intervention strategies like the 3 D’s: Direct, Delegate, Distract.  Through this Green Dot Training, the participants learnt about safe, practical and effective ways to intervene on behalf of someone when they might need your help.
