“There is so much talent in Prairie View and College Station, and we are only 47 miles apart. We need to tap into this talent and build relationships that will certainly make our research, education, students, and faculty stronger.” Dr. Tracy Hammond.
Texas Land Grants Day is held twice a year, once in the Fall at Texas A&M, and once in the Spring at Prairie View A&M. The conference serves as a launchpad for new opportunities, projects, and grants between both institutions.
The organizers of this CONVERANCE (Conversation + Conference) want to develop long-term relationships between faculty members, student organizations, and university leadership through one-on-one conversations and activities like panels, workshops, and presentations.
Join us on Friday, April 14th, to discuss new collaboration and funding opportunities with faculty and researchers from Texas A&M University and Prairie View A&M University.
Keynote Speaker
Dr. Don L. Millard
Deputy Assistant Director of the Engineering Directorate (ENG) at the National Science Foundation (NSF)
